Ok, for an update, Fedora didn’t work out as well as I thought it would be. I tried installing F11 on this new box but it just hangs at “waiting for hardware to initialize” halfway through bootup. As the title suggests, I gotten myself a new laptop. An ASUS F81Se to be precise (I like to call it the female 1981 second edition ^^).
As what I usually do, unpack from the box, boot up whatever wind0ze system it comes with, check the system specifications, format and install l33t Ubuntu (Jaunty).
